How do you determine when the library will be closed?
Staff and patron safety is the primary concern. We rely on local and national weather sources, road conditions and emergency management organizations when determining whether or not to close the library.
Where can I find out that the library is closed?
Before traveling to the library, visit our Facebook page or call.
Are the outdoor book returns closed when the library is closed?
No. They remain open.
What about items that are due?
The due date for those items are automatically pushed until our next open days.
What about my holds?
Materials on hold will be extended until the library reopens.
What about library events/programs?
Events scheduled during a time the library is closed will be canceled and possibly rescheduled.
