Self representation in the State of Missouri

This site was developed in partnership between the Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet) and the Missouri State Library (MOSL) to provide access to resources about technology, how to be safe and secure with it and understanding how to evaluate information found online. Here we have pulled together top resources widely available on the Internet, as well as unique resources that, because they are subscription-only research databases, are available only through your local school or library.

Fueleconomy.gov is the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's source for fuel economy information. It allows users to find and compare the gas mileage of different vehicles, track a user's current vehicle's gas mileage, and provides information about economical gas usage.

Online practice tests, job and career resources

VetNow™ is a service that offers tailored support to veterans and their families.  The service includes live support with a veteran navigator; online expert assistance navigating the VA and benefits veterans are eligible for from local, state, and federal programs; help with transitioning to civilian employment and translating military skills for civilian jobs; and college preparation and support through a full suite of academic tools.

The subscription is available to state aid certified Missouri Public Libraries and is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Secretary of State.
